DuraEdge low and high profile, teflon coated microtome blades, 77mm x 14mm. Premium stainless steel, made in the USA. Packaged in easy-to-use dispenser, 50 blades each unit. DuraEdge teflon reduces friction, eliminates striation and compression and requires no break-in period. These high profile blades have the same blade quality and angle as the leading brand.

This blade is unique in that the cutting edge is a full 80mm. With this full 80mm cutting surface you can easily cut up to 3 standard block widths (24mm) without overlapping. Customers who have used the blade report they can produce quality, consistent cuts for as many as 25-35% more turns per blade than the leading competitors.

This blade is the 3^rd iteration of DuraEdge™ blades manufactured by Crescent Manufacturing in Fremont, Ohio. Crescent is the only microtome blade manufacturer in the United States.
